About This Course

Bruxism. What is it? What causes it? How is it related to sleep and sleep disorders? How is it related to mental disorders? In this course you will gain a greater understanding of bruxism and how it relates to Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). You'll never look at a night-guard the same way again.

Prerequisites

You must have a DS3 software login (username and password) and a willingness to learn!

Dr. Richard Drake

Dr. Richard Drake is co-founder of Dental Sleep Solutions and has been practicing dental sleep medicine for over 12 years. He has delivered thousands of oral appliances and is a leading member of the dental sleep medicine community. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM), and has previously served as President-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer for the AADSM. He is a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas, and a well-respected lecturer in the field of sleep medicine.

Dr. Gy Yatros

Dr. Gy Yatros has been practicing dental sleep medicine for over 11 years, and is an international lecturer in the field of sleep-disordered breathing and dental sleep medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine (AADSM) and co-founder of the Dental Sleep Solutions system for successfully implementing dental sleep medicine in your dental practice.

How long will this course take?

This course is one single unit. This course should take approximately 1 hour to complete.

Do I get CE credit?

Yes! You must take and pass a quiz over each area where CE credit is available -- after you pass the quiz you will receive a CE certificate which you can download and print to submit to your state professional board or store for your records. A copy of all your CE certificates are also available within your DS3 software.
